About Me
DRE #01915996

Shiela de Leon was born to a Chinese mother and a Filipino Spanish father in Manila Philippines, where she grew up in a diverse, international city. Ready for a new chapter in her life, she moved to Southern California and has since entrenched herself in the vibrant culture of her current home. Whether relaxing at the beach, enjoying a hike, or taking her kids on an adventure, Shiela takes advantage of all that Southern California has to offer.

Shiela established herself in a successful career managing renowned restaurants such as Schatzi on Main, Via Veneto, and Hidden. She learned the idiosyncrasies and demands of restaurant management until she opened and sold her own place, Plate Restaurant in Malibu. Having initially worked as a restaurant manager, she learned to please clients, adhere to deadlines, manage stress, and communicate openly with people from all walks of life. Ready for a fresh challenge, she took those acquired skills to pursue a new dream.

Shiela is experienced, trustworthy, and discreet. Her goal is to make her clients happy, and she'll go to any length to achieve that. With her wealth of knowledge and indomitable passion, home buyers can be sure that their dream of finding a new home will be in caring hands. Whether it be first time buyers or experienced buyers, Shiela plays no favorites and is always honest and transparent. Her time working as a realtor in Southern California has given her the experience to know what it takes to buy and sell in such a mercurial market. Success is what matters most to Shiela, and her drive and commitment work in the best interest of her clients.

Shiela is also an active member in her community. As a single mother of two beautiful children, she has learned the importance of sacrifice and altruism. Camaraderie and philanthropy are very important to her, and she gives back to those around her by actively contributing to charities such as Hope for Kids and Smile Train. She is also an active participant in her children's schools, Malibu High School and Marquez Elementary School, where she contributes in any way that she can - always with a smile on her face. Community involvement has provided her with the perspective of what makes a community strong, and she uses that perspective to help clients find a home and a community that best fits their wants, needs, and general lifestyle.

As a self-proclaimed foodie and travel enthusiast, you can be sure that you'll also receive great recommendations on where to eat and have fun. Shiela wants to help you find not just your dream home, but also your dream community.
